Service Description

This course ensures transitional facilities and transitional facility operator’s are able to adhere to MPI TFGEN s3.12 regarding staff training. MPI has actively communicated to TF’s that staff training of biosecurity is of vital importance. There has been a drive from MPI Inspectors to ensure TFO’s are actively completing staff training, specifically those non-AP. Those not completing staff training at their sites will fail audits. However, as TFO’s are not trained adult trainers or indeed developers this can prove a time consuming and monumental task for some sites. This course is for TF staff to complete all requirements for the TFO and easily verify that staff have been trained. The training is a natural continuation of MPI regulated AP and TFO training but is directed at ‘general staff’ level.
