MPI has released the updated TFGEN Standard (2 October 2025) and a new Health, Safety and Wellbeing Guidance Document (TFGEN-GD-HSW). The guidance helps Transitional Facility Operators and Accredited Persons manage overlapping biosecurity and workplace safety duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, with best-practice advice on risk management, site inductions, and Safe Systems of Work.
