Covid-19 Vaccination Policy

NZBA has mandated vaccinations during the Red and Orange light settings of the Covid-19 Protection Framework, in line with NZBA’s Covid-19 Risk Assessment and the guidelines of the Covid-19 Protection Framework - effective 1 December 2021. This includes all learners, clients, visitors, team members and suppliers on our premises and those at client sites where we deliver our training, assessment or consultancy services.

 

We have consulted closely with our team members, learners, clients and stakeholders and will continue to work closely with them, as we understand the challenges and difficulties facing us all at this time. As leaders in Health and Safety training, we are committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of workers in New Zealand and strongly support vaccinations as the most effective way out of this pandemic. 

What this means for you.

NZBA requires anyone who enters our premises and those at client sites where we deliver our training, assessment or consultancy services to be fully vaccinated to help keep us all Covid-19 free.

We do respect that vaccination is an individual choice and as an alternative, we would require evidence of a negative Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test result on the day of your session.

 

NZBA On-site Entry Requirements:

  • Present your ‘My Vaccine Pass’ QR code (available at mycoviderecord.health.nz); and

  • Provide photo identification (NZ Drivers Licence or Passport);

  • OR Provide evidence of a negative Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test result on the day of your session;

  • Wear a face mask

  • Socially distance at a minimum of 1m

Booking with NZBA

When making an online booking, you or the person making the booking on your behalf will be asked to confirm that you are fully vaccinated. Please ensure you have proof of vaccination with you, or alternatively, provide evidence of a negative Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test result on the day of your session.

Medical Exemptions

Any medical exemption will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the NZBA Manager and permission to attend training is at NZBA’s sole discretion.

 

At location services

For training / assessments at a client’s own venue/site, NZBA will adhere to the client’s requirements. As part of the booking process, NZBA will require confirmation that any of the client’s staff attending these sessions with us are fully vaccinated or will present evidence of a negative Covid-19 Rapid Antigen Test result on the day of your session.

 

Privacy

Collection of data relating to an attendee’s vaccination status at time of booking training and / or assessment on our website or at signing in at our premises will be securely stored within NZBA’s document management system, but no medical documentation or verification of vaccination is stored. Collection of this data is available to limited NZBA team members only as is relevant and specific to the learner, client, visitor, supplier or other stakeholder’s presence on our premises. This information will not be shared with any third party.

 

Health and Safety Protocols

NZBA continues with other protocols and controls to help keep everyone safe and well. Our Covid-19 Risk Assessment is reviewed regularly and updated as required. We believe it is the individual right of each NZBA team member or associate to require anyone they are in physical contact with for NZBA business to confirm they are fully vaccinated.
